Quintavius (tay) Twine | Glenville State College | DB/Safety
Q: Tell us about your college career and what the recruiting process was like. Why did you choose Glenville State?
A: I had D1 looks out of high school, but I didn’t have the scores or size. Went to EKU for a semester and set out a year. Glenville stayed with me the whole time and kept in touch with me. I felt as if I was really wanted and needed here. Plus, it was a perfect place for me to focus.
Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?
A: Making honorable mentions and team captain for four years.
Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at Glenville State?
A: How to always work hard and finish what I start.
Q: What was your major and what are your plans if football didn’t work out?
A: Exercise Science and I plan on to go back to school and become an architect. While in school I plan on helping my brother train as well.
Q: What would your teammates say about you and your qualities?
A: That I am a hard work, determinate, leader, and push everyone around me to work hard.
Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?
A: Getting back my speed and losing my hips back up. I just trained harder and did a lot more stretching to overcome those problems.
Q: What is your biggest strength that you bring to a professional team and why should pro scouts consider you?
A: My determination and I am fearless, coachable, and a hard worker.
Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?
A: Not one person but my whole family.
Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community?
A: I was involved in mentoring, but it isn’t a part of the school anymore.
Q: How are you preparing for the 2019 National Scouting Combine and what are your expectations?
A: Training day in and day out with Certified Fitness of Atlanta and Route King at the Loft. I expect to blow it out the water with anything I do. Work too hard to fall short.
Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?
A: To make it to the next level.
