BSN 2014 NFL Mock Draft Rounds 1and 2

Below is the 1st BSN 2014 NFL Mock Draft for Rounds 1 and 2.  The position of these players will change over the next few months after the College All Star Games, NFL Combine, and Pro Days take place.  I expect numerous teams will drop down or move up in the draft order depending on team needs.   Even though Houston has the number pick, don't bank on them selecting a quarterback.   Remember this franchise already made that decision in the past with David Carr.   That pick cost the franchise a lot of money and did not produce a playoff berth.   I don't feel Jadeveon Clowney is worth that spot either, given his questionable off the field conduct and practice work ethic.  I think the safe pick for them will be to select OT Jake Matthews out of Texas A&M.   I also don't see St. Louis selecting a quarterback inthe first round given how much money they already have committed to Sam Bradford.   I feel the first two quarterbacks will go off the board to Jacksonville and Cleveland.   One of the biggest questions is where Johnny Manziel will get picked.  I think when he goes to the NFL Combine, not only will he not be 6'0 and I don't think he will be 5'10.   This could scare many teams from taking him in the 1st Round.   His draft order will also depend on what the Oakland Raiders to with that 5th pick.   They could take Clowney or Manziel.   I think he could slide to Minnesota, but there is not a guarantee that Minnesota has given up on the Christian Ponder era.  You could see Manziel go as high as 4 or have a day like Aaron Rodgers and sit in the green room until day 2.   All of the other selections I made were based on team needs.
