“I'm not big on times although a player has to have respectable times in the forty, shuttle and broad jump. The main area that I pay most attention to though is the individual drills. In my opinion, that is where you can really see whether or not a guy can play for you.” -Mitch Alner Head Coach 2007 af2 Arena Cup Champions Tulsa Talons “Beyond Sports exposes players to the nation in hopes of continuing their football dreams and provides opportunity. I think this network is a great idea, and commend you all for it.” -Sidney Lewis DII National Champion Grand Valley State, af2 Tulsa Talons DB “Already I have received strong interest from the arena football leagues and have some agents that are interested in representing me. I am currently trying out for the new AAFL, so we will see how that goes. I have some good interest out there. Not only has your site given me some playing options and help from agents but it creates an awesome players network of players all across the country at different levels. I like how I’ve received emails from guys asking how the road has been, and as well Im interested in how other athletes are doing. I currently train one of the athletes in the system, so Ill look forward to see how he progresses and makes contacts on your site. I would encourage all athletes to join your site for sure. The athletes network is stronger when everyone works together. The road traveled is much easier too, trust me, haha.”
“Beyond Sports Network is a great avenue for me to promote my bio and film, contact with coaches and agents, and talk with other players. The more people who see my film and the more solid relationships I create, the greater my chances of making it to the next level.”
Beyond Sports Network is a great site to get your name out and to network with players, coaches, and agents. I have networked with players, coaches, and agents on this site and it has really put my name out more than I could have done on my own. I’m starting to see more and more coaches on this site and this will give players the opportunity to tell coaches what they are all about.
Well, it helped me find, what I consider, one of the best agents in the business. He made every call and did everything he needed to do, to get me to the next level. Had it not been for my off season shoulder injury I would have had many opportunities because of him. Also it gives me a chance to help my team better by seeing guys and telling my coach about them. I wish I had something like this when I was coming out of college because it really gives you a lot of exposure all over the world. To me, it is the best thing for a player “who needs a little extra help”.
“While the NCAA mantra is that most of us are going pro in something other than sports and that is absolutely true, it's also true that there are many opportunities for Division III graduates to continue competing after their college days are over. So while we hope to bring these people and their stories to the general public, I'm hopeful that BSN can take these young men (and hopefully women soon) and help them find their way to great playing and educational opportunities overseas and here in the USA. There are so many professional leagues and the ones in Europe and elsewhere overseas, especially, really fall in line with the concept of the well-rounded student-athlete that Division III is known for.”
With this partnership I’m hoping that professional organization will see that the old minor league stereotype is just that a stereotype. Sure their are poorly run leagues and team at this level, but the PFL and it’s members are trying to operate in a professional manor, and should be recognized for their efforts, and given a chance to network with professional teams looking for talented players, coaches, and staff members. Just because our teams don’t have the budgets to pay coaches, staff and players doesn’t mean that you should close the door on what opportunities that we can provide a pro level owner or a coach. Think of this what really separates our level of football with theirs? The answer is money, and the ability to pay staff and players the only reason they have the talent and staff is money “as they say money is what makes the world go around”.”
“We feel our partnership with BSN will help our personnel and coaches with finding top quality players; by the AFX working with BSN all the players are right there for our coaches to find and evaluate the players quickly to get them over to Europe and playing on the various AFX Teams.”
“I feel that the benefits are endless for the partnership of AFX and BSN. Both organizations have top professional people that want to put the best product out there possible. Through BSN’s screening process, AFX will have the very best candidates from which to build its teams. The experience that BSN brings to the table will be a big draw for AFX coaches and athletes alike.
There have been many attempts to “lure” future college players into the paid recruiting services. Many of these “services” were a sham. Our club is so excited to partner with the Beyond Sports Network. We have carefully studied the company, and have had several incredible conversations with Beyond Sports. Jimmy Kibble is a proven big time athlete, and knows what is required to take players to the next level. We are 100% convinced that this program will elevate our players to that level of national recognition. We’re anxious for our players to post their profiles. |
